On the 26th of June 2014, a networking workshop was held at NUI Galway. Six top Chinese Professors (Profs. Wenjun Liu, Haifeng Jia and Xuan Zhao from Tsinghua University; Profs. Zhenyao Shen and Baolin Su from Beijing Normal University; Prof. Zheng Jiao and Prof. Guoji Ding from Shanghai University) visited NUI Galway to attend this one-day workshop.
The view to this networking workshop was to improve understandings between NUI Galway and the Chinese institutes in relation to common research topics. This would, in turn, benefit research applications, for example, H2020 research projects and projects funded by National Science Foundation of China and China Scholarship Council.
Current research, which is being carried out at NUI Galway, was also discussed. This discussion included the DairyWater Project.
